Message from our Presidents

Welcome to Wharton Women in Business! As Co-Presidents of WWIB, we are excited to serve this vibrant community of strong female leaders. Our own Wharton experiences have been shaped by the strong connections we’ve developed with one another, and we are passionate about WWIB and its unique platform for fostering lifelong friendships, professional growth, and personal achievement. Specifically, we are committed to advancing the WWIB community by:

Strengthening Connections

We believe that WWIB provides an incredibly important and powerful forum to connect with dynamic and exciting women. We plan to strengthen opportunities to engage with WWIB through a series of initiatives designed to build connections with current students, alumnae, and women leaders in the Philadelphia community.

Growing Professionally

We recognize that Wharton Women comprise a diverse group with distinct career aspirations. Our goal is to develop targeted programs for both 1st and 2nd year women to support this range of career goals, including increased career mentorship and networking opportunities across a breadth of career tracks.

Developing Leaders

Our leadership programs will focus on broadening leadership experiences for Wharton Women and will help us become more effective as leaders. Specifically, we plan to expand WWIB’s leadership speaker series to highlight issues that women face in the workplace; increase leadership opportunities for current students; and develop dedicated leadership workshops to provide candid career coaching and leadership assessments.

Our goal is to ensure that WWIB effectively connects to each and every Wharton woman. So whether you are a current student, prospective student, or WWIB alumna, we invite you to engage with WWIB and see what this community has to offer!
