Welcome to the 11th Annual WWIB Conference

The annual Wharton Women in Business Conference provides a unique opportunity for business students, alumnae and professionals to come together and hear from distinguished speakers who are leaders across the business, political, and non-profit fields. This year's conference, entitled Unprecedented Times, Unprecedented Women, will be held Friday, October 9, 2009 at the Park Hyatt Philadelphia.

The conference will feature women who have made significant contributions to the global marketplace and have forged unique paths to leadership through the uncertain times facing today’s world. The panelists and keynote speakers include women who have explored new frontiers, experienced the highs and lows of Wall Street, creatively shaped the media and luxury goods worlds, and used their leadership skills to achieve business success, personal fulfillment, and inspire leadership in others. They are innovators, influencers and inspirations in the workplace; they are realistic about what the workforce has been through, but still hopeful for the future.

Participation in the Conference enables current students, alumnae and professionals to share their experiences and engage in active discussion about future careers, the meaning of personal success, and leadership across many forums.
