Angela AhrendtsCEO, Burberry Angela Ahrendts joined Burberry in January 2006, and took up the position of Chief Executive Officer on 1 July 2006.

Prior to her appointment at Burberry, Ms. Ahrendts was Executive Vice President at Liz Claiborne Inc., one of the leading apparel companies in the U.S. During her tenure, she was responsible for womenswear and menswear brands with combined annual sales of approximately 40% of total company revenues. She also led a number of new product and category launches and was responsible for a series of international growth and innovative supply chain initiatives for a number of key brands. Ms. Ahrendts joined the executive team of Liz Claiborne Inc. in 1998, which diversified the corporation from 10 to 41 brands.

Before joining Liz Claiborne Inc. Ms. Ahrendts was Executive Vice President of Henri Bendel and spent six years, from 1989 to 1996, as President of Donna Karan International where she was responsible for Donna Karan Collection, Donna Karan Signature, Donna Karan International and Donna Karan Licensing.

Janet L. RobinsonCEO, The New York Times Company Janet L. Robinson became president and CEO of The New York Times Company in December 2004. Previously, she served as COO and EVP (since 2004) and as SVP, president, newspaper operations, leading the operations of the company’s newspaper properties. She was president and general manager of The New York Times newspaper from 1996 to 2004. Ms. Robinson joined the Times Company in June 1983. Previously, Ms. Robinson was a public school teacher.

During her tenure, Ms. Robinson has directed the acceleration of advertising and circulation revenue growth at all properties and the improvement in profit margins through expense controls, operating efficiencies and pricing initiatives. She has overseen the completion of The Times’ conversion to color and section expansion, the creation and implementation of the national expansion of the newspaper and the transition from an era of print journalism to one in which the Times Company distributes news and information in an increasing array of new mediums.

She has received numerous awards and accolades including being named to Forbes magazine’s list of 100 Most Powerful Women in the World (2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008), included on Crain’s New York Business’ 100 Most Influential Women in New York City Business list (1999 and 2007), and named to Fortune magazine’s annual survey of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Business (2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004).

Ms. Robinson received a BA degree in English from Salve Regina College, where she graduated cum laude in 1972. In 1996, she completed the Executive Education Program at Dartmouth.

Nicole Arnaboldi

Nicole S. ArnaboldiVice Chairman—Alternative Investments, Credit Suisse Nicole S. Arnaboldi is a Vice Chairman of Alternative Investments at Credit Suisse in the Asset Management business. She is the Co-Head of Credit Suisse’s Illiquid Alternatives businesses, which includes the management and agency distribution of illiquid investments such as private equity, real estate, credit products and certain hedge funds, and Chairman of DLJ Merchant Banking Partners.

Ms. Arnaboldi joined Credit Suisse First Boston in November 2000 through the merger with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), where she was a Managing Director in DLJ’s merchant banking team. Prior to the merger, she spent 15 years at DLJ, primarily in the private equity and venture capital groups.

Ms. Arnaboldi joined DLJ in 1985 as an Associate in the Investment Banking Group. In 1987, she moved to the Sprout Group, DLJ’s venture capital affiliate, where she was involved in a variety of principal transactions. In 1993, she moved to the Private Equity Group, where she was promoted to Managing Director in 1996.

Ms. Arnaboldi serves on the Investment Committees for many of the Credit Suisse private equity funds and serves on the boards of the Credit Suisse Americas Foundation, New Yorkers for Children and Prep for Prep, and previously served on the boards of Duane Reade Corp., Horizon G.P., Inc. and several private companies.

Ms. Arnaboldi holds a BA magna cum laude from Harvard College, a JD cum laude from Harvard Law School and an MBA with a high distinction from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, where she was a Baker Scholar.
