Dynamic women offer their perspectives on different career paths in finance, from working on Wall Street to starting a fund to working for a corporation. You will hear how these women gained experience and navigated career choices.

Aileen Stockburger,
Vice President of Worldwide Mergers & Acquisitions, Johnson &
Johnson
Aileen Stockburger, Vice President of Worldwide Mergers & Acquisitions,
joined Johnson & Johnson in 1989. She began her career with Johnson
& Johnson at McNeil Consumer Products and progressed from various
financial management positions at McNeil to Finance Manager, New Business
Development.
In 1991, Aileen became Associate Director of Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions
at Johnson & Johnson Corporate in New Brunswick, where she worked
on several deals, including Neutrogena, Clinical Diagnostics and Mitek.
In 1995 Aileen joined Johnson & Johnson Health Care System as Finance
Director, Business Development. Here she worked on J&J's first acquisition
of a consulting firm, DJ Sullivan.
In 1996, Aileen joined Johnson & Johnson Professional, Inc. in Raynham,
MA, as a Director of Marketplace Information. During her time at JJPI,
Aileen initiated and supported Business Development activities, including
the acquisition of DePuy. Additionally, she was responsible for competitive
intelligence, market research and the financial analysis of Merger &
Acquisition transactions.
In 1998, Aileen became Vice President of Worldwide Mergers & Acquisitions
for the Consumer & Personal Care Group in Skillman, NJ. In her current
role, she supervises the licensing and acquisition activities of the
consumer group including deal structuring, negotiations, contract design
and review, and deal terms. She has worked on numerous deals including
the acquisitions of Baby Center and OraPharma, Inc.
Aileen currently volunteers as an evaluator for the Wharton Business
Plan Competition, and is a member of the J&J Women’s Leadership
Initiative Steering Committee.
Before joining Johnson & Johnson Aileen spent three years at Coopers
and Lybrand where she earned her CPA certification. Aileen received
her BS and MBA from the Wharton School.

Jacqueline Reses, Principal,
Apax Partners
Jacqueline Reses joined Apax Partners in 2001 and is responsible for
the media investment effort in the US. Recent investments include NEP
and TVHead. Prior to joining Apax, Jackie served as the chief executive
officer and member of the board of directors of iBuilding, Inc., a real
estate software business that was sold to Realeum. Previously, she was
a principal at Doughty Hanson & Co. focusing on media and technology
investments. At Doughty Hanson, she was on the board of directors of
North American Membership Group and Trend Technologies.
Prior to Doughty Hanson, she spent over seven years at Goldman Sachs
as a vice president in its mergers and acquisitions advisory group and
principal investment area. Her investment experience at Goldman Sachs
Capital Partners includes numerous transactions in the retail, media
and technology sectors.
Jackie received a B.S. in economics with honors from the Wharton School
of the University of Pennsylvania.
