The McKinsey Women's Network invites you to join us for a session on "Leveraging Your Strengths to Enhance Your Personal Presence" on Thursday, November 8.

During a 75-minute interactive discussion, we will focus on helping women discover ways to take advantage of their natural strengths to increase their effectiveness in team settings and to present their ideas with confidence. While strengthening personal impact and presence is certainly not a women-specific issue, we often hear from women that it is a topic about which they are particularly interested. The focus of the program will be on discussing team dynamics, interesting research on gender differences, and tips and techniques for enhancing presence. We hope that, in addition to being a valuable experience, it also gives women candidates a bit of a flavor for what we mean by "professional development" at McKinsey.

Volunteer Opportunity with WWIB: Eliza Shirley Woman’s Shelter

Volunteer at the shelter on December 7th, 10AM to noon or a two hour block in the afternoon. The shelter is located at 1320 Arch Street .

Activities include arts and crafts with the children in daycare, clothing drive inventory, and serving meals. Students are also invited to suggest an activity to the shelter.

Students interested in volunteering should email Micole Hamburger at Micolek@wharton.upenn.edu for more information. The dates for volunteering are flexible! If the 7th does not work for you but you wish to go, please contact Micole.
