Professional Development and Industry Networking
Each year, WWIB partners with numerous Alumnae to organize industry-specific events that allow Wharton Alumnae to reconnect and Wharton MBAs to begin to develop a professional network. These events include joint community service activities, informational panels, cocktail receptions and skills-based workshops. Please contact any WWIB Co-President and Dimple, Amy or Shiva will connect you with the appropriate officer, who will help you develop an event.
Regional Connections and Relationship-Building
WWIB is intrinsically involved in supporting students in their transition into the Alumnae community upon graduation and maintains a constant dialogue with the External Affairs Office. Using internal contact lists, the WAVE database and WWIB work hard to ensure that its members stay involved after leaving Wharton. This year, in collaboration with Wharton Clubs around the world, the Alumnae Relations Officer, Meghan Michels, is organizing dinners and receptions for Alumnae and current students during the summer and winter breaks. If you would like to partner with WWIB to promote alumnae affinity within a particular region, please contact Meghan Michels at michelss@wharton.upenn.edu
For more information on the activities of WWIB officers this year and potential ways to become more involved, please visit our WWIB Functions page.
